Richard Preston
Founder, Director
MA MSc CEng FIET HonFAPM
Richard’s career started in the manufacture of automotive test equipment. He then ran a mechanical construction company working in nuclear, offshore, petrochemical plant installation and low energy systems and building services.
An unplanned move to higher education proved serendipitous. He developed and delivered two MScs in Project Management and a range of innovative Executive Development Programmes while taking his own MSc in Human Resource Development.
He then headed the Learning and Development business of a London based Project Management Consultancy before setting up Genersol in 2007.
He has continued to design and deliver executive development programmes and assessment for sectors including nuclear, petrochemical transport, defence, financial services automotive, police, charities and oil and gas alongside some hands on project delivery.
These have run in Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
